inspiration of Mt. Hood the mountain, Mt. Hood National Forest. The
date is Sept. 17.

4 p.m. that day at the Music Tent.
The contest entry fee is $10. If you pre-register by Sept.

of the festival, and your gate entrance fee of $5 is waived. Those
arriving on Sept. 17 pay the gate entrance fee and registration fee
at the gate.
Prizes for the first, second and third place winners in each
age category in each medium, are based on a percentage of the proceeds
for that group.
This festival is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Mt.
Hood National Forest in its natural habitat. The artworks entered
in the contest are a lovely reflection of the artists’ view of the
forest and mountain. It is exciting to contemplate what variety of
perspective and experience each entrant will display. Rather than
the end of summer, the month of September heralds the beginning of
autumn.
