DANCE SHOWCASE

Saturday night, Feb. 24, the Spare Room presented a Gala Dinner and
Dance show, the first in a series of bi-monthly special events.
Headlining the event were Michael and Cynthia Parent, owners of Impressions
Dance Club in Tigard, with professional competition dancers. They brought
down the house with a sizzling Latin show, featuring a sexy rumba, a
cool west coast swing, and a hot mambo.
The second team, Jay Willis and his partner, was an amateur couple
who will be competing in the Rose City Ballroom Classic next month.
They danced a beautiful waltz, a lively foxtrot and a dramatic tango.
The audience was very enthusiastic and eagerly awaits the next Gala
Dinner and Dance.
