MUSIC MILLENNIUM'S
32ND ANNIVERSARY
PARTY
Music Millennium, Portland's world-famous, cutting edge
record store, celebrates its 32nd year on Tuesday, March 15, with live
music, food, door prizes and more.
This past year, Music Millennium was awarded Indie Retailer
of the Year by Album Network, a top industry publication, and
named Music Retailer of the Year by the National Association of Recording
Merchanidisers. Company President Terry Currier remarks, "We strive
to have the ultimate record store. Who knows if we can do it tomorrow?
But this year we did!"
Featured live entertainment for the event is Rocket From
the Crypt, at 8 p.m. Their most recent release, Group Sounds,
"delivers the most explosive and dense rock of their career.
Unapologetically over-the-top, the album crafts youth
anthems from the band's uncanny ability to elevate the pop form to a
furious stream of consciousness scorch." This party promises to
be a true "millennium" benchmark event.
